| Mick Graham is the principal inventor of Benitec's gene silencing technology and joined Benitec in 2000 as its Principal Research Scientist. He has worked at the cutting edge of research in molecular biology for more than 20 years, and has over 30 publications and six patents arising from his research with both animals and plants. For the past seven years Dr. Graham has led research in co-suppression and RNAi, demonstrating the efficacy of the technology for the first time in mammalian cells and for in vivo gene silencing of native genes in mice. At Benitec he leads development of the core gene silencing technologies and is the scientific lead in Benitec's various partnerships and collaborations. | |
